These pack down smaller than a pair of socks, so I didn't think twice about stuffing them in my pack. The included insole actually makes them comfortable enough to walk around rocky campsites without wincing. My feet were grateful after 12 miles of trail.

After a 12-mile day my feet were screaming, and slipping these on at camp felt like a reward. They weigh almost nothing in my pack, and the included insole is the reason I can walk around the campsite without wincing.

Wore these around camp for three nights and the insole actually made a difference on rocky ground. Only gripe is they run a bit loose without socks, so size down if you're between. For the weight, they're worth packing.
