Esbit Fuel Tablets (12 pack)

These little cubes are perfect for a quick trailside cup of coffee, and I love that I can blow them out mid-burn to save the rest for later. Twelve minutes of steady flame is just right for a small pot.

Boiled water for coffee in about ten minutes on a damp morning, and the flame held steady the whole time. I like that I can blow them out mid-burn and save the rest for next trip.

I've been using these tablets on backpacking trips and they consistently burn right around 12 minutes, which is perfect for boiling a cup of water for coffee. The fact that you can blow them out and save the rest is a game-changer for longer meals.
