Boussole thermomètre de poche Silva

Took this little compass on a day hike and the needle settled quickly, which was a nice surprise for such a compact size. The built-in thermometer is a handy bonus for checking conditions along the trail. It's lightweight enough to clip onto my bag without noticing it's there.

The needle settles quickly and points true, and the whole thing fits snug in my palm without snagging on pockets. It’s not for serious map work, but for a casual trail check it does the job. Only gripe is the thermometer is a bit slow to react to temperature shifts.

The needle really does settle quickly, which makes getting a bearing feel effortless. I keep it clipped to my pack strap and it's handy for quick checks, though I wish the markings were a bit larger for my older eyes.
