After three days of hiking in humid weather, the wool still felt soft against my skin and never got that clammy feeling synthetic shirts give me. It airs out really fast when I stop for a break.

First backpacking trip with this and I barely noticed I was wearing it — no itch at all, which surprised me since wool usually bothers my neck. It dried fast after a sweaty climb and didn't stink by day three.
