Zpacks 1g Tick Remover

I was skeptical about something this small actually working, but the curved tip hooks onto the tick instantly and removes it cleanly. Stuck it in my pocket and forgot it was there until I needed it.

It's barely bigger than a quarter, so I almost forgot it was in my pocket until I actually needed it. Pulled a deer tick off my dog cleanly in one twist, no fuss and no extra weight in my pack.

For a piece of gear this tiny, it’s surprisingly easy to grip and twist—the little notch got a stubborn deer tick out on the first try. I barely noticed it in my pocket, which is exactly what I wanted for a backcountry emergency. Glad I spent the ounce instead of risking Lyme.
