14" Nylon Tape Strip

14" Nylon Tape Strip - Main image
$2.07 $2.95 In stock

This tape is made from the same Ventum nylon material as our sleeping bags, wind shell jackets, down jackets, down booties, and down hoods. It is perfect for making matching repairs to your nylon gear items if you get a little puncture or tear.

Nylon frays around the edges, so cut a piece the size you need and gently singe the edges with a lighter before use. Peel the paper backing and stick it smooth. Your quick and easy repair will be a fairly permanent fix.

Adam K. ★★★★★

The color matched my jacket perfectly, and the material feels just as durable as the original shell. Cut a strip with scissors and it adhered cleanly to cover a scuff on my backpack.

Joseph ★★★★★

Bought this to patch a tear in my down booties and the Ventum nylon matches the original fabric so closely you'd never know it was there after a quick iron-on. The 14-inch strip gave me plenty of length to cut two patches, and it's held up through a couple of washes without peeling.

Richard ★★★★★

Finally, a repair tape that disappears into the fabric instead of looking like a patch. It's the exact same nylon as my gear, so the repair on my wind shell is practically invisible. Glad I grabbed a roll before winter trips.
