Replacement Sternum Strap

Replacement Sternum Strap - Main image
$6.57 $9.95 In stock

This is a replacement for the standard sternum strap that attaches to the daisy chains on our backpack straps.

The sternum strap loops around the daisy chain webbing on our shoulder straps, and should also be compatible with other similar shoulder straps.

The maximum length is about 12" (30.5 cm) from strap to strap and will fit most hikers.

We also have a longer sternum strap available.

Finally, a sternum strap that actually stays clipped in while I'm hiking—the loop design grips the daisy chain securely without slipping. It's simple but does exactly what it needs to, and the plastic buckle feels sturdy enough for my heavy pack.

Edward ★★★★★

Finally a sternum strap that actually stays put while hiking, the wide plastic buckle clicks securely into place without any slippage. I swapped out my old worn one and this replacement fit right through the daisy chain loops with no fuss.

Leo ★★★★☆

It loops around the daisy chain webbing just like the original, and the fit feels secure once you get it positioned. Took a bit of fiddling to make sure it sat flat, but it’s done the job on a few long hikes so far.
