Zpacks Ventum 風衣

First trip out on a blustery ridgeline and I barely felt the gusts through it, yet it packs down small enough to forget it’s in my pack. The fabric is whisper-thin but somehow traps warmth with just a base layer underneath, perfect for those in-between temps.

Pulled it on over a thin fleece during a gusty ridge walk and the wind just stopped, though I stayed noticeably warm. It's so featherlight I kept checking I hadn't left it at home, but it still handles a real chill. Perfect for those shoulder-season mornings.

The whole thing disappears into my pack, but on a windy ridge at dawn it kept me warm over just a baselayer. Weighs nothing at all, which makes it a no-brainer for spring trips.
